![]() We are a theoretical framework that uses as parameters concepts presented by Flavia Pereira which are related to the practice of musical re-elaboration, also borrowing from diverse approaches of Philip Hii, Nicolas Goluses, Stanley Yates and Pedro Rodrigues. ![]() In this thesis, we have analyzed two re-elaborations for guitar of the Fuga BWV1001, made at an interval of about 100 years, by Tarrega and the Argentine Pablo Marquez (1967). Since then, Bach’s music has remained a central part of the traditional guitar repertoire, and great interpreters of this instrument such as Llobet, Pujol and Segovia have produced transcriptions of this music, also exploring new works of the Baroque master. ![]() ![]() The music of Johann Sebastian Bach was introduced into the guitar repertoire by the spaniard Francisco de Asís Tárrega Eixea in 1907.
